GIS Data Conversion Project Manager
Description
- Manages a team of conversion technicians for enterprise GIS infrastructure database (water, sewer and storm drain) automation, conversion and quality assurance projects.
- Is very knowledgeable of GIS related business models and practices, facilitates work group sessions to ascertain customer needs, identifies user problems and their solutions, and determines process flow.
- Works with customers and IT teams to develop GIS data automation, management and quality assurance (QA/QC) procedures.
- Manages conversion team to ensure project budget and schedule will be met.
- Utilizes a broad understanding of enterprise GIS data standards, data management, data conversion, quality assurance and data distribution procedures to ensure data integrity and compatibility.
- Considerable knowledge and experience with the techniques, practices, methods and procedures of enterprise or department GIS data sets.

Environment
- CA Clarity Portfolio Management, MS Project, MS Visio, MS Office Suite.
- Knowledge of ESRI's ArcGIS Desktop and/or other GIS software is required, utility infrastructure knowledge is preferred.
